Audition to become a cycle instructor at Spoke
We are looking for cycle instructors! Are you someone who can command a room of people; motivate members for an exhilarating, personal, and mindful experience in class? Do you want to inspire others to push to their personal best? If yes, we wanna see you on that podium.
How do auditions work?
You will select three songs for your audition and perform them in front of fellow candidates and our training team. Feel free to incorporate any choreography or moves you'd like to showcase. The stage is yours!

To apply to audition as a Spoke cycle instructor, you must meet either of these two requirements
Participated in Spoke’s workshop or,
Rode at least 50 classes at the studio and have previous coaching experience

Once you advance to training, you'll participate in an 4-week course, with sessions lasting 2 to 4 hours each weekend.

Yes! Instructors lead with the opposite leg to mirror the class, helping riders stay in sync with the rhythm and pedal strokes.

Yes, absolutely! You'll be leading your three songs for the Spoke Team and the other auditioning candidates—we want to hear everything you've got!

Yes! Your three-song series will include the following:
145-160 bpm: Opening song
160-180 bpm: Fast jog
128-132 bpm (doubled to 256-264 bpm): Sprints

Yes - you will during others’ auditions. We will not require you to ride more than 10 songs.

Yes, within 1-week of auditions.

No, the podium is not guaranteed. It depends on your progress throughout training.

We are looking for two to three people.

You are required to teach a minimum of three classes per week and must have your weekends available.

No, we will review all applications and select candidates to move forward to auditions based on the submissions.
